If you are trying to learn audio programming and DSP from scratch (like, *really* from scratch), these notes might be the place to start:

They were lecture notes for a student-led 1-credit audio programming course that I taught in the spring this year, but it's now a course for everyone. Some sections are still in revision, but the main contents are mostly complete.

It's probably more low level and UNIX-centric than most of the audio programming tutorials you can find, so don't expect to learn how to make an audio plugin using JUCE or how to make fancy GUIs etc. But maybe this can be a good thing.

Sami are an indigenous people who have inhabited large parts of Northern Europe spanning from Russia to Norway for millenniums.

He has dedicated his life to advocate for their rights and preserve their languages and culture. This book is a major contribution in an effort to ensure that this ancient language will be passed on to future generations.

The rust tools I made to populate and gopher mirrors stopped working because of some SSL error and now I have to update everything like deps and code to have them run again, fun times ahead!

@binarycat your 9 software list is pretty impressive! I’ll add it to gemini:// if you don’t mind
